We are a Christian family that lives in northern Kansas on an acreage. We have desired to raise our children on land and teach them how to raise wholesome and nutritious food. The purpose of our family's blog is to show the faithfulness of the Lord in our lives, as well as to give you a glimpse of our life on the farm.

tom retired from the Army after serving his country for 22 years in 2003. He now works as a civilian contractor at Fort Leavenworth. He enjoys farm work, tending to the animals, and is very talented; but most of all, he loves being with his family.
dana is our homemaker and keeps very busy with regular duties. She occasionally finds time to expand knowledge about her interests, such as canning, growing vegetables for the family, and herbs & nutritional healing. She is our business contact. |

Being raised on a farm since age 6, nathan ('95) is a farmer at heart and is often seen doing chores on his Ford 8-N tractor. He enjoys being outside working hard, hunting and trapping in the winter, and playing violin in spare moments. |
Born on Nathan's second birthday, jonathan ('97) is our great inventor! He often puts his skills to use by fixing damaged fence lines and tractors. Along with caring for the animals with Nathan and Samuel, he enjoys milking goats and hunting.

rachael ('99) was born on Easter morning. She also likes to cook, write, and play piano and harp. She has a servant's heart and takes good care of us and loves to cook wonderful goodies for us to enjoy. |
